The Loft Collective is a Community Interest Company based in North Ayrshire, dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and supporting mental health through creativity, community workshops, and wellness.

 

 

Our Mission

 

We organize initiatives such as beach cleanups, repurposing workshops, and visits to recycling plants to inspire sustainable practices. Additionally, we host events that support mental well-being and reduce social isolation through art, yoga, and cultural experiences.

WHAT WE DO

 

  • Beach Cleanups: We organize regular cleanups along the Three Towns coastline to promote environmental sustainability.

 

  • Yoga and Mindfulness Workshops: Launching in 2025, these workshops will be held across local community centers to support mental well-being.

 

  • Life Drawing Classes: Starting in early 2025, our Life Drawing Classes in Saltcoats will provide aspiring fine arts students with valuable skills and preparation.

 

 

Public Consultation

 

On February 3rd, 2025, at 3:30 PM, we held a meeting at Saltcoats Library to introduce The Loft Collective to the local community. We discussed organising regular beach cleanups, educational trips to recycling plants and galleries, repurposing art workshops, and free yoga classes. For those who couldn’t attend, we’ve created an online version of the presentation. 

 

 

THANK YOU, STREETSCENE!

 

Thanks to the support from Streetscene, North Ayrshire Council’s department for clean streets and beaches, we’ve received litter pickers, bin bags, hi-vis vests, gloves, and first aid kits. With this assistance, we now only need volunteers and public liability insurance to start regular beach cleanups in Three Towns.
